              Manic depression is a severe mental disorder involving manic episodes as well as deep depressions. Manic episodes are characterized by an abnormally elevated and/or irritable moods, grandiosity, sleeplessness, extravagance, and a strong tendency toward irrational judgments. These are quite often accompanied by episodes of depression, possibly including lethargy, a sense of deep worthlessness, lack of concentration and extreme guilt. Manic depression has no cure.

             Manic depression/bipolar disorder, is a mood disorder which occurs equally in both males and females and is frequently found in close relatives of those with the disorder. Manic's Dance was created for those who & "dance" through life with this illness... as well as their friends & loved ones who stand at their sides...

The posts are vast and many are added each day as several people post and feel at home each day. 

Here's the quick scoop: You choose a category, (like doctors / medications, family & loved ones, 'I've got a question' poetry sections / verses etc.), Remember to respect one another... at any time the roles may reverse, bipolar is a mood disorder with many in "null" a good number manic to some degree and some depressed.. and then their are loved ones and family and each are in different places too.... all the forum space in the world couldn't equal your presence and impact on someone down the line, you are a part, as is everyone... 

It's easy, don't let it intimidate ya ... once you post a few you'll wonder why it did!
